While the entire planet goes mental with eco friendly stuff, at Ignition Networks we keep trying to find ways to be less evil to the planet. The good news is that one of our Wholesale partners, Dreamhost, is now Carbon Neutral. This is good news as it now means that :
- 80% of Ignition Networks Hosting (formally INHOST) is carbon neutral
- 100% of our Transportation is Carbon Neutral thanks to Honda New Zealand's Treefund
- 90% of our office business is now paperless
So were not doing too badly.

With much anticipation Apple announced today their 3G Phone, dubbed the iPhone 2.0.
The new phone features a raft of upgraded ideas, such as the 3G network interface and much slimmer design. But the power of the device is in the new iPhone 2.0 software. The new software includes
- Enterprise Level Software (Similar to Blackberry style software)
- The App Store (iTunes for iPhone software)
- GPS Support
- and the Introduction of MobileME, a new over the Air Sync platform for Mac OSX, iPhone and Windows users.
- Improved Exchange Support
-
With these new features it will be interesting to see how the new iPhone stacks up both in the enterprise and in a declining economy.
